Download and install.
I have not received my download. Where are my files?
The files are ready right after checkout. Check your inbox and your spam or promotions folder for the delivery email with the download link. You can also open your order confirmation, click “View your order” and use the download button on the order page. If neither works, email the address above from the email you used at checkout.
I installed the profiles but cannot find them in Lightroom.
The profiles do not appear in the Presets panel. They live in the Profile Browser: in the Develop module, click the small grid icon at the top of the Basic panel and look for “Analog Vision Studio V2”. If they still do not appear, restart Lightroom. The page on profiles not showing lists the causes in order.
How do I install the profiles?
Import them in Lightroom Classic or Lightroom, and Camera Raw reads them from the same folders. The install guide has the steps for each program, for macOS and Windows, and for phones.
Do the profiles work on my phone?
Yes. Import them in Lightroom, the cloud-based desktop app, and they sync to Lightroom on iPhone, iPad and Android through Creative Cloud. For the Professional version, import the camera profiles in the same app. Profiles imported in Lightroom Classic do not reach the phone.

Which software do the profiles work with?
Lightroom Classic (7.3 or newer), Lightroom, the cloud-based desktop app (1.3 or newer), and Camera Raw in Photoshop (10.3 or newer). Phones and tablets receive the profiles through Creative Cloud sync. The AVS Lab Tech plugin needs Lightroom Classic 12 or newer. The profiles do not run in video editors such as DaVinci Resolve, and not in Lightroom in a web browser.
Is there a Capture One version?
Not yet. A Capture One version is in production and coming soon.
What is the difference between Standard and Professional?
Both versions carry the same film stocks and exposure levels. Standard is built on Adobe Standard, works with every camera Camera Raw supports and also works on JPEGs. Professional is built on AVS Base Neutral, a neutral camera profile for each supported camera model, and works on raw files only. Professional gives a consistent look across the listed cameras when the raw files share the same white balance.
Is my camera supported?
The Professional version supports 374 camera models, including regional and marketing names. Check yours in the camera list. If your camera is not on it, use the Standard version.

What is in the Essential Edition?
Six film stocks (Kodacolor 100, Gold 200, UltraMax 400, Fuji Pro 400H, Vision 3 250D and HP5+), each at six exposures from −2 to +3 EV, in a Standard and a Professional version. That makes 72 film profiles. The ZIP also holds the AVS Base Neutral camera profiles for the Professional version, 37 Workflow Presets and the AVS Lab Tech plugin for Lightroom Classic. It is a download only, and nothing is shipped. See the product page.
Can I try it first?
Yes. Kodacolor 100 and Vision 3 250D at 0 EV in the Standard version are free by email, so you can try them on your own raw files. The sign-up is on the free profiles page.
Will my photos look like my own film scans?
The profiles are built from 35mm film shot on calibrated charts and scanned on a Fujifilm Frontier SP-500, with no extra color grading. If your lab scans on a Frontier, the result comes close. Other scanners, other lab settings and other scan profiles shift color, so a match to your own scans cannot be promised.
Do the profiles make my camera look like another camera?
No. They put the color and tonality of a film stock on the raw file of your own camera. They do not copy the color science of another camera brand, and they do not replace a camera’s own film simulations.
Are Portra, Velvia or Kodachrome included?
No. The Essential Edition has the six film stocks listed above, and no other stocks are part of it.
Can I return the product?
All products are digital downloads. The right of withdrawal ends once the download is provided, after you agreed to that in the cart. If a file is damaged or a download fails, email the address above and the problem is fixed or the file replaced. The conditions for withdrawal and refunds are on the refund policy.
Where do the reviews come from?
Buyers are asked for a review by email after the purchase. The reviews are collected through Klaviyo Reviews and shown on the product page.
I am buying for a business in the EU. Do I pay VAT?
Businesses in the EU outside Germany with a valid VAT ID get the VAT back. Continue with the Checkout button and enter the VAT ID in the “VAT number” field, which appears below your address, so it is on the order. Express buttons such as Apple Pay skip that field, and a VAT ID cannot be added after the order. You pay the full price, and once the VAT ID has been checked, the VAT is refunded to your original payment method, with a corrected reverse-charge invoice. Orders from Germany include German VAT.
