LUMENARY'S SIGNATURE PROFILES
Professional Film Emulation Profiles for Lightroom & Photoshop
Complete Workflow Tools: Local adjustments included for fast, flexible editing
Why these profiles are different
A profile fundamentally changes how your camera's RAW data is interpreted. It's the foundation that determines how color and light are rendered, much like how different film stocks interpret light in their own unique way. Think of it as replacing Adobe's color science with Kodak's (or Fuji's) color science.
The key advantage over presets is color dynamics: While presets are limited to adjusting 8 color hues in ACR and Lightroom, our profiles contain thousands of color points mapped through 3D LUTs. This massive color space which is derieved from 35mm film scans processed through a Fuji Frontier SP-3000, captures the true nonlinear response curves, color crossover, and density characteristics that make film special.
So instead of forcing digital files to look like film through basic adjustments, your RAWs are "developed" through color and tonal data from analog film stocks. All your adjustment sliders remain at zero, giving you the same creative flexibility you'd have with a professionally scanned negative.
The story behind these profiles
Analog Vision Studio was developed by a professional photographer with years of experience across the entire analog and digital photography pipeline: From darkroom work and enlarging to scanning negatives and digital RAW processing to give digital images true film character. With a formal design education and deep technical knowledge of both analog and digital workflows, countless hours were invested in studying what makes film special.
A particular focus: the Fuji Frontier scanner and its distinctive rendering. The Frontier brilliantly emulates the look of traditional C-prints, where negatives are optically enlarged onto color paper through RA-4 chemistry. For many photographers, the look of C-prints IS the film look they remember and love—not raw negatives, but the final prints from professional labs.
Understanding this crucial distinction is what sets these profiles apart. While others chase raw negative characteristics or apply generic filters, Analog Vision Studio captures what most photographers actually want: the warmth and character of traditional color prints, as masterfully emulated by the Fuji Frontier scanner. This deep understanding of both traditional darkroom printing and modern imaging technology is what makes these profiles feel genuinely photographic.
Compatibility & Workflow
Works with: Adobe Lightroom Classic, Lightroom CC, Camera RAW, and Photoshop (via Camera RAW filter)
Simple 3-Step Workflow:

- Make basic adjustments in the basic panel (ACR or Lightroom) with our workflow tools that are included in the purchase
The Signature Profiles are a small collection of creative color profiles I built for my own personal work.
They are not direct emulations of specific film stocks.
Instead, they’re inspired by different eras of film photography drawing from the overall mood, contrast behavior, and color relationships rather than trying to replicate a single material.
Compared to the film emulation profiles, these have a stronger interpretative character. They’re meant to be used intentionally, not as a neutral base. Think of them as creative starting points when you want to push an image into a more stylized direction.
The included Vision 3 demo profile is also a more creative interpretation of the Vision 3 line. The profile offers a brief look into motion-picture-like color response, adapted for still photography but with a strong look.
The workflow tools are also added in this pack.
Select Your Film Profile
Choose a film profile from the Profile Browser in Lightroom. Each profile replaces Adobe’s default color interpretation with a film‑based one, forming the foundation of your edit.
Set the Intensity
Apply the profile and adjust the Amount slider to taste. Profiles are designed to work at 100%, but the full 0–200 range lets you fine‑tune the strength depending on scene, light, and subject.
Refine with Workflow Tools (Optional)
Film scanning or handprinting introduce subtle variations through automation, color dials, and tonal decisions. The included workflow presets replicate and correct these variables, allowing quick, controlled refinements without breaking the films character.
